Next, we perform a nationwide eviction search to ensure the applicant hasn’t been involved in any unlawful detainer actions in the past.

Following this, we analyze their credit report through Experian. While we don't focus on a specific credit score—our recent tenant average is 600+ FICO—we carefully examine their payment history and look for any judgments, collections, liens, or bankruptcies.

Our assessment is detailed, similar to how banks underwrite loans, factoring in the applicant's monthly debt obligations. We also verify their income and employment, confirming that they earn at least three times the monthly rent.

To assess their rental history, we contact previous landlords. Additionally, we utilize the Connecticut eviction database to help identify any applicants with problematic histories in the area.
